COSTS: The training is designed for parish groups who are committed to using the Landings programme. By the end of the training groups will be fully prepared to begin using Landings in their parish.The cost of the day includes all the resources that are required to run the programme. There is one cost of £150 per parish. Usually parishes send groups of 4 or 5 people, but if 10 people from a parish attend, the cost is still the same. It is beneficial and more cost effective to train all members of a parish team together. If individuals wish to attend the workshop without commitment, Landings would ask for £10 per head (which will be deducted from the £150 if your parish subsequently decide to adopt the programme). Resources are not included.

DECEMBER 2008

• 6th December, St. Paul's Icon will be visiting the parish of St. Michael and St. Martin's in Hounslow for a week. The 7th December sees the Hounslow Young Adults group hosting a fun-filled session where young artists, musicians and writers unite under one roof, and, drawing inspiration from St. Paul's Icon, use our talents and skills to make 'Creative Fusions inspired by St. Paul'. We aim to fuse traditional Catholicism with street culture using St. Paul's icon, life, and/or works, as inspiration for creativity, giving the wider audience an opportunity to experience and relate to a religion still very much alive in young people. This event is a revival of the old, and a hope for the new. Leaflet (pdf)
  
• 12th December, All Night Vigil in Walsingham. It will take place on Friday December 12th - Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe / Saturday December 13th 2008 and will be led by the Community of St. John - who are about to make a Foundation in England in Canning Town on October 1st 2008 - Feast of St. Therese. Please keep them in your prayers and mark the Vigil in your diary! This Vigil will have a Pro-Life theme.
